Glow Dog Reflective Fido Jacket. This weatherproof, lined jacket provides full-torso coverage, uses secure nylon straps with Velcro® closure. Made from polyester and microfiber materials that are Telfon® coated allowing greater breathability and moisture wicking. Lining is soft, durable and non-pilling. During the day the jacket is an attractive color, at night oncoming headlights reflect back to the driver who sees the entire item as bright white. The fabric is embedded with millions of tiny "mirrors" that reflect back to any light source. Simply measure your dog from the base of the tail to the base of the neck for the correct size. Full torso coverage with secure, durable nylon straps using an adjustable Velcro closure system. Machine wash in cold water, tumble dry on low heat.
Not to be confused with 'glow-in-the-dark' visibility, illumiNITE is a retro-reflective technology which means the reflective qualities are visible only to the light source. When a vehicle's headlights shine on the jacket (at intersections, coming up from behind and approaching from the front) your dog will be visible to the driver.

To determine the correct dog jacket size, simply measure your dog from the base of the tail to the base of the neck. Compare length of your dog to the size chart below to determine correct fit.

To View: You can replicate these conditions indoor with a flashlight to view the reflectivity of your Glow Dog products; Stand about ten (10) feet away from the product, preferably in a darkened room. Holding the flashlight at the eye level against the side of your head, shine the beam directly at the fabric.
The pictured jacket has only one strap, however, due to the size, in XL there are two velcro straps that go under your animal to secure the jacket. Please note, the size of the black border varies from unit to unit.
