Intrinsically Safe

Intrinsic safety in a product - is a requirement where you may operate the Intrinsically Safe equipment in hazardous areas. It applies to devices that are being operated in areas with flammable gases or fuels. Intrinsically Safe means that the device is incapable of igniting those gases. In short, an intrinsically safe piece of equipment won't ignite flammable gases.
